Pray With Holy Hands
The founders of this movement and the “Holy Hands for Mugabe” postcard-writing campaign believe their assignment is to call others to pray that President Mugabe be drawn to the Lord. You may feel led to pray for God to bless Zimbabwe in others ways. Please pray as you are led.
- Confess your sins and ask the Lord to purify you from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
- Pray that the Holy Spirit protects your heart so that you can pray with holy hands, free of wrath and dissension. 1 Tim. 2:8
- Pray that President Mugabe will come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. John 3:16
- Pray that President Mugabe hears, understands and believes God’s promise of eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ. John 17:2-3
- Pray for the condition of President Mugabe’s heart, that God would replace anger with love, fear with faith, bitterness with forgiveness and distrust with a keen sense of God’s Holiness.
- Ask God to surround President Mugabe with people who are witnesses and examples of His love.
- Pray that God arrange conversations that reveal His love for the lost.
- Ask the Lord to bless and anoint every postcard that is sent so that they reach President Mugabe with messages of God’s love.
- Pray that all those who touch these postcards also be blessed by the heart-changing and life-saving power of God’s love.
- Pray that the prayers of the saints overwhelm his heart.
- Ask the Lord to assure President Mugabe that he is worthy.
- Pray that President Mugabe’s heart is pierced with the knowledge that God endlessly searches for lost sheep and that God desires that none shall be lost. 1 Tim.2:3-4
- Pray for revelation that God’s love is unconditional and that President Mugabe will not be judged by God as others have judged him.
- Pray that President Mugabe be filled with the confident assurance that God accepts him as he is. 1 Peter 3:18
- Pray that God blesses President Mugabe with the knowledge that God loves him as a son. Rom. 5:8
- Pray that God’s glory is revealed to this man who heads the nation of Zimbabwe.
- Pray that President Mugabe is freed from any prior teaching or experiences or indoctrination that prevent him from seeking God.
- Pray that President Mugabe be empowered to see himself as God sees him, worthy of admission into the kingdom through the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ.
- Pray that God cleanses you of any unrighteousness so that you also may see President Mugabe as worthy in the Lamb of God.
- Pray that President Mugabe puts his trust in God, not in wealth or other worldly idols. Eph 3:16-19
